Numerous hotels are listed in the best guidebooks of France, such as the Guide Rouge or the Gault-Millau. For your comfort, we include occasional taxi rides at the end of the day to transport you to your hotel.

Budget Travellers Walking Tours: If you are happy with a small hotel and casual, traditional French dining, perhaps you should choose this option. The itinerary is similar, only accommodation and meals varies. Less taxi transfers are included in our budget Travellers Walking Tours.

DURATION: 7 NIGHTS / 8 DAYS
DIFFICULTY: Grade 1 – This tour is easy. No walk is more than 17 km (10.5 miles) per day. You will walk 4 or 5 hours at relaxed pace and spend time at places of interest along the route. Walking experience is not necessary as distances are short and the terrain is gentle. Everebody can walk this tour

The price includes: lodging and breakfasts with or without dinners in a double bedroom for 7 nights (see tour description), luggage transport from one hotel to the next and the road map book.

Not included: Lunches, drinks, and sundry expenses. Travel Insurance.

To get there: Obernai is on the Strasbourg Molsheim - Selestat rail line and can be easily reached in the two directions (about fifteen trains per day except on Sundays, 4 trains only). Colmar and Selestat are on the Strasbourg-Mulhouse-Bale line and there many connections with the other French rail stations.
